There is no connection between the two. The discount taxes are the agreed with Redunicre. The DCC financial compensation is an additional income that is shared with the merchant.

It is a solution based on a technological platform that allows the merchant to accept payments in his virtual store with cards from Visa and MasterCard.

By integrating the Redunicre E-Commerce solution your website will be able to accept payments with debit and credit cards, from Visa and MasterCard systems. Note: the possibility of using debit cards as a means of payment on the Internet depends on the card issuer – it is necessary that the holder’s authentication is not made automatically by PIN and that the card has CVV2 (Visa) or CVC2 (MasterCard).

The checklist consists of a set of requirements that you must comply with to commercialize online. These requirements must be previously validated by Unicre before the entrance of the store in production.

All payments made will be credited to the merchant

It is a solution presented by Redunicre (in collaboration with Six Card Solutions) that allows to integrate the debit and credit card payments from the systems Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Diners and Discover with the main hotels management programs (minimum versions: Opera 4.0.05.02 and 5.0.01.02; Fidelio 8.8.01; Micros 3700 and 3900), making the process of acceptance of cards faster and more secure. Knowing the specific needs of the Hotels and Tourism sectors, this solution presents all the functions/operations necessary to the acceptance of card payments (gratuities, reservations, top-ups, late charges, express checkouts, etc.) assuring to the merchant greater security in accepting card payments and productivity gains in customer service, being able to provide a faster and simpler service.

The client checks-in at a hotel with the integrated payments solution hired and shows a card accepted by this system as a means of payment. The hotel employee inserts the client in the hotel management system, indicates the estimated value of the client’s final expenses (the cost for the stay and other possible expenses at the bar or restaurant) and proceeds to authorize the value on the client’s card. The card is read from the on-site terminal that is connected to the hotel management system, and the authorization is automatically made on the client’s card. During the stay, every time the value of the client’s expenses exceeds the authorized value, the management system automatically triggers off requests of authorization (top-ups) on the client’s card, guaranteeing this way that the client has the necessary balance to pay up the total amount of his expenses at the end of the stay. At the time of the client’s check out, the hotel employee indicates the account closing and proceeds to the debit order on the client’s card. Since the system registers the client’s card data at the check in, the client does not need to perform a new authentication of the transaction, making the check out faster and simpler. Through the hotel management system, the hotel employee proceeds to the emission of the document proving the amounts debited, delivering it to the client.

It is not necessary to join a service when you hire another. The Integrated Payments solution may be used simultaneously with the DCC service, but they work independently. The DCC service is a facility that is made available and that may generate more value for the merchant, since it makes a financial compensation possible. It is also an extra service for the client, allowing him to pay in his card’s origin currency.

The hotel management programs compatible with the Integrated Payments solution are: Opera, Fidelio and Protel.

If the client is foreign and wants to pay in the card’s origin currency, the top-ups are made in euros and the conclusion of the sale is made in the card’s origin currency.

The merchants with a contract with Redunicre do not have extra costs.

The Integrated Payments solution is aimed at hotels with management systems.

If the merchant wants to join the Integrated Payments solution, he must have all his terminals in the establishment connected to MONEXT, once the solution does not work with terminals connected to SIBS.

The Integrated Payments solution is available for debit and credit card from the international systems Visa, MasterCard, Diners, Discover, JCB and American Express.

It is a solution that allows merchants to accept cards occasionally as means of payments, in a secure way, at distance (when the merchant, card or its holder are not in the same place – point of sale – at the time of the transaction). It is a personalized link that directs the cardholders to Redunicre’s payment pages. This link can be made available by the merchant to the cardholder through a web page, letter, fax or email.

By joining you can accept payments with debit and credit cards from the systems Visa and MasterCard. This solution was developed for merchants that do not have a virtual store and that do not have the purpose of massive sale of products but that need to receive payments in a practical and secure way.

The Redunicre@Payments solution becomes an advantage since there is no need for the trader to have a virtual store nor to be integrated with back office systems, which simplifies the process in what concerns to time and costs.

Yes. The payment is made in a specific page of UNICRE. This way the merchant does not have access to the data of the card at any stage of the payment.

Every merchant who wants to join the Redunicre@Payments solution has to sign a contract with Redunicre.

The validity of the service is set between Redunicre and the merchant.

The maximum amount per transaction per card in one day is of 5.000€. The maximum amount of all transactions per card in one day is of 10.000€.

The Administration Centre is a management transaction tool available to merchants who hire Redunicre@Payments solution that allows them to perform operations upon their transactions and manage their Redunicre account. The access is given by Redunicre after they hire the solution mentioned. It is available in two realities: Pre-production and production.

Yes. The Redunicre payment page recognizes the type of browser and adapts automatically to the smartphones and tablets screen, without being necessary any merchant adjustment on our page.

The merchant can choose to receive an email (in an email address previously indicated) with the payment notification or two emails, one with the notification and another with the payment receipt.

The number "2" refers to revised Payment Services Directive. Since 2007 there has been a directive defining rules on the provision of payment services. With the technological evolution that has occurred in the meantime and the need to frame a number of new players in the market in the same way throughout Europe, there has been a need to make changes to the 2007 document.

These changes are expected to:
• Contribute to a more integrated and efficient European payments market;
• Make payments safer and more efficient;
• Foster the equality between payment service providers;
• Strengthen consumer rights;
• Promote the adoption of innovative payment services.

Please note that the rules set in PSD2 apply only to payment cards issued in Europe.

For payments made in "physical locations", PSD2 does not represent significant changes. The use of the debit or credit card to make payments will remain unchanged, being primarily based on the payment card chip sensing through a terminal and the customer entering the PIN code. Operations using the magnetic stripe of the card, or the signature of the customer, may incur in higher refusal rates by European card issuers.
Card payment transactions with the use of contactless can be made without entering the PIN code up to 50 euros (however, there will be situations where the customer will have to enter the code for amounts below 50 euros).

Non-presence payment transactions will have largest impact with the application of PSD2. From September 14, customers will need (in most cases) to validate their remote transactions, in particular via 3D Secure. This is already a common procedure for Portuguese merchants and customers. Since 2015-2016 most Portuguese online shoppers already receives SMS from their bank or card issuer with a code to validate their purchases on merchant websites (3D Secure).
